Corn-cob waste, put to work.

Local feedstock, pyrolysis and biochar applications. Our next project builds on gasification experience in Lampung.

Solution

Pyrolysis of corn cob into biochar.

Heating biomass with limited oxygen produces biochar, a carbon-rich material. Storage durability and net removal depend on feedstock, process conditions, laboratory results and the applicable methodology.

  1. 01

    Feedstock collection

Corn cob that would be landfilled or burned is collected from local partners.

  2. 02

    Drying & pyrolysis

Proven small-scale pyrolysis reactors convert biomass into biochar and heat.

  3. 03

    MRV & certification

Every batch is recorded for monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) toward carbon removal credits.

  4. 04

    Biochar use

Biochar goes to cement, fertilizer, farmers and SMEs.

Site & feedstock

Secured site and feedstock supply.

  • Secured site

Partnership agreed with PT Semangat Jaya, including the exact facility location. PT Semangat Jaya (80 staff) will support hiring for 24/6 operations.

  • Guaranteed feedstock

Agreements with PT Semangat Jaya to deliver the required monthly tonnage, with dedicated storage on the premises.

  • Permitting underway

Licensing and environmental permit processes (including SRUK) are actively underway.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is biochar?

Biochar is a carbon-rich material made by heating biomass without oxygen (pyrolysis). Its carbon is stable, so it stays stored for the long term.

Why corn cob?

Corn cob is the feedstock available through our local partnership in Lampung. Moisture, drying requirements and biochar yield must be evaluated before sizing the production system.

Has ENVIID issued carbon credits?

Not yet. The reactor is endorsed by Carbon Standards International and Isometric certification is ongoing. Calculator figures are projections.

Where is the facility?

In Lampung, at partner PT Semangat Jaya's site. Permits are underway.

How can I get financial information?

Financial details and project documents are shared via the Data Room with qualified parties. Request access using the form below.
